He is survived by: his wife Miriam Jacobson Emerson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; his children, Demi Emerson (Timmy), David Emerson (Donna), Karl Emerson (Vicki) and Kevin Emerson; his grandchildren, Tavia Dewey (Zac), Sydney Case (David), Leah Emerson, Lauren Abernathy (David), Anna Templeton, Bristol Emerson (Railey), Abrina Emerson and Daria Bowen (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Link Gervasi, Seth Case, Hadley Case, Raylee Abernathy, Willow Woodrell and Kasen Abernathy; his brother Ray Emerson (Martha); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Jacobson (Felicia) and Sandra Cooper (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
