It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Nelson Sanders (Vicksburg, Mississippi), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Hart Nelson and George B. Nelson. She is survived by: her husband William L. Sanders; and her siblings, Tammy N. LaGrone (Barry) and Robert B. Nelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great, great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Karen wished for memorials to be made to Hawkins UMC or a favorite charity.
