She was predeceased by: her father Emory Lee Morrison, Jr.; her husband Frederick LeGrand Yates, Jr.; her grandson Dan Yates; and her siblings, Linda Morrison, Sybil Kitchens and Gene Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Yates and Laurin Yates of Utica; her grandsons, Stephen Yates (Sara) of Florence and Lee Yates of Vicksburg; her great grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Yates of Florence, Atticus Yates and Tatum Yates of Vicksburg; and also, David Morrison, Gary Morrison, Roy Yates, Brett Oleis, Chris Purviance and Caleb Field.
