She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Sessums and Eva G. Sessums; her siblings, Velma Thomas, Beatrice Lay, Birdie Ward, Sudie Lee Thomas, Nathan Sessums and Gilbert Lamar Sessums; and her sister-in-law Annie Pearl Richmond Smith.
She is survived by: her son Horace Michael "Mike" Richmond (Margaret); her grandchildren, Krissy Hoover, Nicki Groce and Jason Richmond; and her sisters-in-law, Floy Richmond Atkinson and Ruth Richmond. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
