He is survived by: his father Bubba Matthews; his wife Lesa Jean Matthews; his stepsons, Taylor Smith (Laura) and Coby Smith (Lindsey); his sister Lindsay Matthews Lynn; his grandson Landon Smith; his niece Chloe Flaharty; and his nephew Colby Smith (Corbin Brown).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
