He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Marlin and Nettie Mahaley McCreary Tweedle; and his sister Betty Carroll Blackwell. He is survived by: his sons, William Ashley Tweedle (Felicia) and George McCreary Tweedle, Jr.; his brothers, J. M. Tweedle, Jr. (Barbara) and L. W. Buddy Carroll; his grandchildren, William Grahm Tweedle, Landry Hayes Tweedle and Skylar Ann Tweedle; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Anne Wienke Spinks, Kimberly Anne Lamb, Melissa Kelly Tweedle, William Lafayette Wienke (Tiffany) and John Marlin Tweedle, III (Macye). He is also survived by great nieces, nephews and friends.
