She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Armond and Frances Sandifer Stevens; her husband Charles Templeton; her son Kyle S. Smith; and her siblings, Valerie Davis, Florence Hile, Dorothy Pogue and Leonard Stevens.

She is survived by: her sister Val Davis; her son Samuel A. Smith; and her brother Gordon Stevens. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
