David Leist Bliss Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2021, at the age of 68, David Leist Bliss Sr. (Vicksburg, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ural James Bliss, Sr. and Lula Bufkin Bliss; and his sisters, Elizabeth Anne Bliss and Carmelia Hamblin. He is survived by: his significant other Sara Gee Bliss; his children, David Bliss Jr. and Ava Bliss; his grandson Dalton Bliss; his brother Ural "Bubba" Bliss, Jr. (Donna); his parents-in-law, Lucius and Allene Dabney; and his close friend Gerry White. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to Gibson Memorial Methodist Church, 335 Oak Ridge Road Vicksburg MS 39183.
