We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 75, Charles Hugh Smith (Vicksburg, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James Smith and Ruby Jewel Hensley Smith; and his siblings, Bobbie Joe Smith (Carolyn), Richard Smith (Jeanette), Bill Smith, Wayne Smith (Frances), Frank Smith (Gala) and Linda Bennet Hull (James).

He is survived by: his wife Bille Sue Barner Smith; his daughter Dayna Michelle Smith; and his sister Catherine Hollowell (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fisher Riles Funeral Home (5000 Indiana Ave, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials can be made to your favorite animal shelter if desired.
