He was predeceased by: his parents, Elba Boyette Haney and Willard Curtis Haney; his stepfather W. R. Clearman; his brother Warren Curtis Haney; and his stepsister Cherry Hinkel.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Kitty Haney (Ms Kitty); his sons, Lance Sheldon Haney, Victor Kevin Haney and Steve Jennings; his sister Glenda Sims; and his close friend Bill Henley. He is also survived by one granddaughter, three great-grandchildren.
