It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Steele Jr. (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Steele, Sr. and Roberta Fields Steele; his stepfather Bob Fields; and his sisters, Joyce Massey and Judy Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Steele; his children, Brett Steele (Crystal), Victor Cavasos (Becky), Cecil Steele III, Christopher Steele (Katy), Rebecca Steele, Angie Welch (Gerald) and Esther Temple (Matt); his sisters, Janis Welborn and Pamela Pennington (Joe); and his grandchildren, Christian, Chloe, Isabel, Stella, Haley, Shelby, Chris, Emma, Harrison, Tori, Cecila, Eli and Ashton. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
