He was predeceased by: his wife Nita Walker Geter; his parents, Cliff Geter and Etta Sanders Geter; his grandson Rusty Geter; and his siblings, Aubrey Geter, Margaret Ann Murray, Freddie Geter and William Geter.
He is survived by: his children, Clifton (Melissa), Carolyn Bonner (Robert) and Jimmy Geter (Leigh Ann); his grandsons, Josh Geter, Nicholas Geter and Austin Geter; his stepgrandchildren, Shondell Harvard (Kenny), Cody Escher (Crystal) and Sabra Walton (Casey); and his sisters, Louise McKlemurry and Mary Catherine VanBuren.
