He was predeceased by: his wife Octavia Martinez; his sons, Jesus "Chuy" Martinez and Casimiro "Cachis" Matinez; and his son-in-law Thomas Barton. He is survived by: his children, Jon Martinez (Vania) of Flowood, MS, Jesse Martinez of Monroe, LA, Lorenzo Martinez (Priscilla) of Vidalia, LA and Maria Barton (Thomas) of Vicksburg, MS; and his sisters, Chenchita Martinez Carranza, Loli Martinez Carranza of Hidalgo and Luz Martinez of Mexico City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
