She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer O. Caviness, Sr. and Alice Cochan Caviness of Virginia; her siblings, Charles Caviness, Debbie Coursey and Martha Jo Brown; and her son Donald Glenn Smith.
She is survived by: her significant other Lawrence Lovette; her sons, Charles Smith (Ben) of Tupelo, MS, James Smith (Jimmy) of Vicksburg, Danny O. Smith of Vicksburg, Ronald Smith (Ronnie) of Vicksburg, John Champ Smith of Vicksburg and Christoiper Smith (Chris) of Vicksburg; and her brothers, James Caviness, Robert Caviness and Elmer Caviness, Jr.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
