She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Bailey and Gladys Bounds Bailey; her siblings, Rev. Jimmy Bailey, Sr. and Patricia Beausoliel; her husband Doyle Purvis; and her daughter Cynthia Whitehead.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra; her siblings, Sara Sellers Thompson and Billy Joe Bailey; and her grandson Jared Aden.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Fields officiating.
