She is survived by: her husband Elvin "Leon" Nevels; and her children, Barbara Acuff (Jimmy), Peggy Cousins (Tommy), Angela Nevels, Cathy Hughes, Larry Nevels and Elvin Nevels, Jr.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
