She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Lofton; and her parents, Thomas Carl Hancock and Laura Russell Hancock. She is survived by: her sons, James H. "Buddy" Lofton, Jr. (Anita) and Thomas David Lofton (Helen); her siblings, Carl L. Hancock, Ronald F. Hancock and Patricia Cathart; her grandchildren, Tracy Tomkins (Larry), Lance Lofton, Tommy Lofton (Angie) and Christy McKissack; and her great grandchildren, Landon Tomkins, Ansley Tomkins, Madelyn Lofton, Carter Lofton, Julia Lofton, Cameron McKissack, Layton Lofton, Jaxton Lofton and Easton Lofton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Redbone United Methodist Church.
