He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sanderson and Myrtie Bell Sanderson; and his son Ross Sanderson. He is survived by: his sons, Derek Sanderson (Jessica) and Drew Sanderson (Youyou); and his grandchildren, Ace Sanderson, Jace Shields, Paige Shields and Kade Shields.
