He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Morris and Christine Gottlob Morris; and his wife Doris Parker Morris. He is survived by: his daughter Dana Sills (Jim) of St. Joseph, LA; his siblings, Charles Morris of Tyler, TX, Patsy Jane Caldwell (Jodie) and Marilyn Pearson of Newellton, LA; his grandson Jimmy Sills of Austin, TX; and his pet Lady. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
