It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sue Goggans of Verona, Mississippi, born in West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. H. Lemmons and Kathleen Bowles Lemmons; her siblings, Betty Hammock, Robbie and Henry Lemmons; and her nephew Jerry Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Goggans (Marilyn) of Saltillo, David Goggans, Phyllis of Verona and Susan McWhirter (Randy) of Pontotoc; her grandchildren, Stephanie Goggans, Trena Goggans, Summer Knight (Alex), Michael Goggans, Kathy Christensen (Claus), Christy Bowling (Brent) and Kelley McWhirter (Laura); her great grandchildren, Reed, Brendan Goggans, Max, Eli, Emmaline and Barnabas Bowling; and her siblings, Kathleen Armstrong (Leon) of Brewer and Horace Lemmons (Stephanie) of Fulton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family asks that all wear a mask due to the Corona Virus and practice distancing precautions.
