It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonell Posey of Verona, Mississippi, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson Patterson and Mamie Hester Patterson. She is survived by: her husband Marcus P. Posey; her children, Susan Wiygul (Don) of Tupelo, Rosemary Edens (John) of Athens, Alabama, Dave Harris (Janet) of Austin and Marc Posey (Leslie) of Smith Lake, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Shana Harris Wallace, Michael Harr, Rob Rogers, Susanne Gergory, Ashley Webb, Jennifer Edens White, Megan Latimer, Taylor Posey, Madison, Stacey Lowe and Courtney Johnson; and her brother John Robert Patterson (Emily) of Nettleton.
