She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Medcalf, Jr.; her father Joe Brown; her siblings, Linda Davis, Jeanette Bumphis, Joe Lee Brown, Marvin Brown and J. W. Brown; her son Ballard G. Medcalf; and her sons-in-law, Rev. Larmia Ambrose and James White.
She is survived by: her children, Inez Ambrose of Verona, MS, Joan White of Verona, MS, Mary A. Terrell (Bobby) of Tupelo, MS, Syble Morris (Elbert) of Shannon, MS, Margaret Owens (Earnest) of Memphis, TN and Andrew Medcalf of Verona, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren, seventy nine (79) great-grandchildren, twenty one (21) great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and several of God's children.
