We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2023, at the age of 96, Zelma Lou Hardin-Shepard of Vardaman, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Zelma B. Casey and Edith Maddox Casey; her husbands, Thomas Allen Hardin and Ira William Shepard; her siblings, Henry Porter and Robbie Jo Duncan; and her son Michael Dale Hardin.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Allen Hardin (Thana Pitts) of Chattanooga, TN, Ronald Casey Hardin (Chrissy) of Memphis, TN, Catrina Grady of Chattanooga, TN, Shirley Sirrell (Paul) of England and Tonna Hardin Logan of Water Valley; her brother James Marshall Casey of Vardaman; and her grandchildren, Casey Lynn Logan, Chelsea Campbell, Kari "Abbey" Hardin, Hunter Hardin and Trevor Hardin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
