He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fugett and Winnie Fugett; his wife Peggy Mae Martin Fugett; and his siblings, Loree Cohea, Linda Hollingsworth, Elaine Mabus, Lyla Mitchell, Clarice Gregg, Thomas Fugett and Edwin Fugett.
He is survived by: his sons, Sonny Fugett (Nancy) of Vardaman, MS and Martin Fugett (Angie) of Vardaman, MS; his grandchildren, Jonathan Fugett, Nathan Fugett, Laci Jo Fugett Long, Jessica Fugett and Jordan Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Grant Fugett, Lyla Fugett, Sean Marion, Maddox Marion, Kender Marion, Marlie Jo Fugett and Owen Crawford.
