It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Carpenter of Vardaman, Mississippi, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Romie Carpenter and Mable Ashby Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Julia Davis Carpenter; his children, David Murr (Misty), Suzanne Carpenter and Valerie Carpenter; and his sister Carol McElwee (Jack).
