She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Dunn and Leona Davis Dunn; her children, Billy Ray Meadows of Aberdeen, Edward Alan Meadows of Calhoun City, Garland Wayne Meadows of Bruce, John Michael Meadows of Olive Branch and Melissa Collins of Vardaman; her siblings, Edward Dunn of Arkansas, Wayne Dunn of Oxford and Francis Burke of Water Valley; her husband Donald Pierson; her siblings, Benny Dunn, David Dunn, William Dunn and Bessie Dunn; her son Bobby Lynn Meadows; and her granddaughter Rhonda Hart.
