We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 76, Dale Pilkington of Vardaman, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Pilkington and Stella Azwell Pilkington; his siblings, Calvin Pilkington of Maben, MS, Betty Deason of Clarkson, MS, Nell Rose of Meridian, MS, Willa Dean Mann of Columbus, MS, Thadie Williams of Mathiston, MS and Cassie Brown of Mathiston, MS; and his grandson Thomas David Pilkington.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Davis Pilkington; his sons, Thomas Pilkington, Jr. (Patricia) of Maben, MS and Nelson Pilkington (Jennifer) of Houston, MS; his stepchildren, Rodney Gregory of Houlka, MS and Jamie Weaver (Nicholaus) of Amory, MS; his sister-in-law Julie Crouch (Tim) of Pontotoc, MS; and his cousin Wayne Eiland of Waxahatchie, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tutor Memorial Funeral Home (270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
