He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gaston Hamilton and Ruby Leola Hardin Hamilton; and his siblings, Hugh Anderson Hamilton, Ruth Cole, Peggy Sue Hodge and Shelba Joyce Willis.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Harrell Hamilton; his children, Barry Hamilton (Karen) of Water Valley and Lindy Hamilton Monaghan of Vardaman; his grandchildren, Jace Hamilton, Karla Brown and Brooke Monaghan; and his sisters, Carolyn Henson of Bartlett, Tennessee, Jean Sanderson of Kansas City, Missouri, Gloria Gilless (Al) of Southaven, Mississippi, Gwen Pace (Larry) of Marietta, Georgia and June Edington (Grover) of Vardaman, Mississippi..
