He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Richmond Alexander and Bonnie Laudrey Crawford Alexander; and his grandson Josh James. He is survived by: his wife Linda McClain Alexander of Vardaman; his children, Billy Gene Alexander (Liz) of Big Creek, Judy Holder (Mike) of Vardaman, Lisa James (Doug) of Vardaman and Lynn Havens (Delwyn) of Bolton; his grandchildren, Jennnifer Doss, Jena Hood, Jeri-Laken Greer, Jayla Greer, Shaun James, Jacob James, Abbie Fortner, Hinton Havens, Phebe Havens and Carly Havens; and his siblings, James Larry Alexander (Betty) of Vardaman, Kenneth Alexander (Susie) of Vardaman and Donna Montgomery (Loyd) of Naples, Florida.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers ask that memorials be given in Billy's memory to St. Jude Children's hospital and Friendship Baptist Church.
