He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Eva Tanner King and Herbert King. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Bryan Joseph King (Monica) and Michelle King Allen (Brad); his grandson Nicholas "Nico" King Allen; and his brother Thomas J. King. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
