Myra Kay Sonnier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myra Kay Sonnier of Vancleave, Mississippi, who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Buddy" Gavin and Lillian Gavin; her husband Julius Louis Sonnier; her grandson Jeremy Lavern Letort; and her sisters, Lois, Judy, Phyllis, Sherry and Sharon.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Gavin (Don), Chris Letort (LA), Kim Jacquet (Steve), Jody Sonnier (Amanda), Beth Sly (Ronald), Connie Jacquet (Greg) and Rocky Sonnier (Kellie); and her sister Lee Gavin Sims. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren and their spouse's, and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southern Mississippi Funeral Services (6631 Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
