He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sr. Sumter and Betty Sumter; and his brother Michael Sumter. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Shalene Ryall (John) and Craig Sumter; his brother Ron Sumter (Dale); and his grandsons, Jacob and Alex Ryall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
