He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Edward Ellis and Jimmie Viola Manning; and his siblings, Beatrice (Fleming), Clara (Buchanan) and Benjamin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Merle (Entrekin); his children, Ivan Lee Ellis (Jennifer), Kelly Brenke (John) and Ben Ellis (Jill); his grandchildren, Brandon Ellis (Meagan), Victoria Lawrence, John Lawrence, Connor Stringer and Loryn Stringer; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Ellis and Adaline Ellis; his sister Judith Majkowski; his sister-in-law Helen Fletcher; and his friends, Robert Murphy of Deedy Holden, BJ, Holden Nolan, Clayton and Kathy Clements. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; cousins.
