Powell of Vancleave, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Huey and Mary Margie Hutchinson; her son John "Neil" Powell; and her siblings, Roger Hutchinson, Huey Herschel Hutchinson and Evelyn Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her children, Steven E. Brooks (Linda) and Angela Brooks Roberts.
