He is survived by: his wife Hilda Self Morgan; his children, Wanda Clark, Brenda Morgan, Freda Murphy, Rhonda Davis, Kathy Keith, Edward Lamar Morgan Jr. and Timothy Clay Morgan; and his close friends, Dick Rogers, Rick McElroy and Milton Cullins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
