She is survived by: her children, Virginia Ann Johnson and Phillip Michael Vinsett; her grandchildren, Shayna Hope Spingler and Joseph Daniel Gaw; her great grandchild Himawari Spingler; her close friend James Randall Ferguson; her siblings, David Whitley, Maggie Mae McClellan and John Whitley; and her mother Grace Davis of Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other cherished family members.
