He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Taylor Veazey and Jessie Mae Veazey (Lewis); his daughter Sherry Smith Veazey; and his siblings, Wanda Mae Veazey, James Byron Veazey and Carolyn Fay Moore (Veazey).
He is survived by: his wife Marian Kay Veazey; his children, Doyle Taylor Veazey, Anita Ruth Mitchell (Veazey) and Kenny Wayne Veazey; his stepdaughter Stephanie Ann Yost; his grandchildren, Lauren Smith Katkam, Byron Smith, Rachel Veazey, Rebecca Veazey, Jessica Mitchell and Emily Mitchell; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary Fowler and Sienna Yost; and his great grandchild Waylon Ridge Walters.
