He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Tanner Carlander; his children, Georgiann Nelson (Mike), Alvin "Bubba" Carlander (Tracy) and Belinda Satcher (Scott); his grandchildren, Amber (Ed), Tonya, Nicole (Leo), Misty, Stormie, Nick (Ashley), Bobby (Kelly), Brantley, Autumn and Jeremy; and his siblings, Gerald and Lula.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vancleave Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (12205 Mt Pleasant Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
