He is survived by: his sons, Walter Robert Applewhite (Teresa), Joe Crawford Applewhite, Jr. and James Byron Applewhite (Linda); and his wife Mary Beth McFadden. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
