She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Shanks and Margaret Bingham Shanks; her son Phillip Jason Childs; and her brother Alton Dewey Shanks, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Larry Garrett; her children, Kim Ball (Richard), Trey Childs (Julie) and Neal Jones; her sisters, Peggy Utz, Lori Rodgers, Lisa Cortesi, Gina Kirby, Carol Latham and Traci Denton; her grandchildren, Kaylee Rochelle (Ridge), Peyton Childs (Jamie), Phillip Jason Childs, Jr. (Alley), Hannah Bowers, Amber Benton and Ashley Jones; and her great grandchildren, Easton Ridge Rochelle and Sawyer Marie Rochelle. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
