Bonnie Louise Self Wetzel Obituary
Onnie Louise Self Wetzel of Vaiden will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, at Vaiden Cemetery in Vaiden. Bro. Mark Bullock will officiate the services. Mrs. Wetzel, 84, died at Brandon Nursing and Rehab in Brandon on Tuesday, November 7. She was born in Alabama City, Alabama, on March 19, 1933. She was a retired employee of Walmart in Winona and enjoyed gardening and playing bingo.
Mrs. Wetzel was preceded in death by her parents, J. A. and Inez Williams Bickle; grandson, Charles Leverett; two sisters; two brothers; and her longtime companion, Harvey "Blacky" Welch. Survivors include her children, Marion Sumrall, Wayne Wetzel, Terry Wetzel, and Bernice Wetzel; sister, Patsy Pruett; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
