She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Knight, Sr.; her daughter Brenda Sauls; her parents, Leta Mae Hamilton and William Hamilton; and her siblings, Matthew Paul, Alma Whitley, Jean Hoosier and Mable Johnson.

She is survived by: her sibling Bill Hamilton; her daughters, Leta Knight Fuller (Dennis), Brenda Knight Sauls, Linda Knight Frix, Mack Knight (Judy), Paula Knight, Johnny Knight, Jr., Roger Knight and James Knight (Mickie); and also Mildred Lewis. She is also survived by Eight Children: four sons.
