He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Steven Carlisle, Sr. and Vicki Dianne Carlisle; his grandparents, Wesley, Myrtle Carlisle and Maxine Martin; his cousin Jim Carlisle; and his brother-in-law Gary Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Carlisle; his children, Tyler Stevens Carlisle, Destin Payne Allen, Tyler Blake Allen, Rebecca Ivy Carlisle and Katlyn Dianne Carlisle; his siblings, Richard Alvin Carlisle, Cherie Raymer and Bobbie Jo Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Evaeh Nicole Allen and Ellie James Allen.
