Travis III (University, Mississippi), born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jay A. Travis, Jr. and Katharine Brennan Travis; his wife Judith Thompson Travis; his granddaughter Kathy Travis Gregg (Bo); his great grandchildren, Sarah, John Edward Travis (Leigh Ann) and William Fulton Travis (Susanna); his brother Fred Travis (Alix); and also, Paul, Anna, Malin, Fulton, Clayton and John Hayden. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jay A. Travis, III Law Scholarship Endowment at the University of Mississippi, the MIND Center at UMMC, or St. Andrew's.
