It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne McKnight in University, Mississippi, born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles A. McKnight; his grandparents, Pawpaw and Mawmaw Morgan; his stepfather Larry Lee Jackson; and his brother Larry Lee Jackson Jr..
He is survived by: his mother Mary Lois Morgan Smith (Scott) of Goreville, IL; his daughter Gracie Addyson McKnight of Byram, MS; his siblings, Bobby Joe McKnight of Rockford, IL, Mary Ann Jackson-Comans (Chad) of Pearl, MS and Stephanie Greiner (Brad) of Ozark, IL; his uncle Jimmy (Cynthia) of Drew; his cousins, John Morgan (April) of Texas and Jennifer Kiihnl (Perry) of Mississippi; and his nieces and nephews, Akira, Madix, Karma, Chevy, Dallas, Kevin, Blayre, Kamilla, Lil Renny, Cayden and Jayda.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic masks are mandated when entering the funeral home.
Super Dave will be living on through his organ donations.
