It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Bassett of Union, Mississippi, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Bassett and Louise Bassett; and his sister Edna Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Labriola (Jeremy), Briana Bassett of San Diego, CA. and James Bassett of San Diego, CA; and his siblings, Glenda Young (Arvin) of Baton Rouge, LA, Mary Baysinger of Philadelphia, Betty Crain (Sammy) of Columbia, LA, Frieda Foster (James) of Kosciusko, Alfred "Sal" Bassett (Beverly) of Union and Chris Bassett (Lee) of Pineville, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bassett, 67, died Friday, August 20, 2021 at Rush Foundation Hospital of Meridian.
