She was predeceased by: her husbands, Hines Melton Platt and Boyd Williamson; her children, Vernon Platt (Kim), Wanda Platt and Christy Nester; and her siblings, Lamar Cole, Alton Cole (Jean) and Pauline Dearman (Leo).
She is survived by: her children, Rusty Williamson (Debbie), Boyd Platt (Erin) and Leah Dupre (Aaron); her grandchildren, Kerry Bradford, Kyle Grace (Abby), Tyson Pomelia (Cole), Amanda Nester, Russell Williamson (Jamie), McGuire Beech (Braxton) and Caleb Bradford (Rose); her sister Myrtis Yates; her sister-in-law Dean Cole; and her sons-in-law, Lamar Jones and Don Nester (Teresa). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Church of God.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Pine Grove Church of God 12491 Rd 127, Union, MS 39365.
