He is survived by: his son Thomas Harlan Smith; his grandchildren, Jade, Trae, Lynnlea and Harlan; and his siblings, Penney Smith Stokes, Jeff Smith (Beth) and David Smith (Pansy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
