He was predeceased by: his parents, James K. Ponder and Willie Jean Gifford Ponder; his daughter Lacey Ponder; and his brother James Ponder. He is survived by: his pet Whiskey; his children, Destiny Ponder, Ryan Ponder and Rickey Ponder; and his siblings, Connie Vaughn, Shelia Boyer, Elizabeth Turner, Peggy Tremblay, Deborah Butler, Byron Ponder and Jeffery Ponder. He is also survived by his grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
