She was predeceased by: her father Homer Childers; her husband Shelby G. Barnes; her mother Janie Clark Childers (Clark); her siblings, Annlee Pettigrew (William), Romie Childers (Lucy) and Lucile Boyd (Joe); and her grandson Christopher Alan Raspberry.
She is survived by: her son James Barnes (Jackie) of Pachuta, MS.; her sister Mable Wilson (Cecile); her granddaughters, Sherri Barnes (Beth Porter), Tammy Hancock (Kevin), Cassie Rolison (Eddie), Jennifer Browning (Will) and April Elmore (Allen); her great grandchildren, Kristian Bailey (Jacob), Jamey Shirley, Marissa Raspberry, Britt Hancock, Brittany Hancock, Shelby Graham (Alex), Cammie, Claudia, Carley Rolison, Jorja, Wesely Browning, Lillian Dew (Brandon), Zoie, Anna and Alyssa Elmore; and her great great grandchildren, Travis Luke Bailey, Maverick, Ledger Hancock, Devon, Liam Hancock, Garner Graham and Odie Rolison.
